Triathlon is a sport that consists of three different disciplines: swimming, cycling, and running. The distances vary, starting from the shortest/sprint distance: 750m swimming, 20km cycling, and 5km running. Moving on to the Olympic distance: 1500m swimming, 40km cycling, and 10km running. There are also longer distances, such as the IronMan 70.3: 1.900m swimming, 90km cycling, and 21km running. The most challenging and coveted distance for triathletes is the Full IronMan: 3.800m swimming, 180km cycling, and 42km running.

Over the past 10 years, triathlon has experienced a significant increase in new enthusiasts and participants in the sport. The number of races has grown, offering greater challenges for personal records and opportunities to qualify for international events like Ironman and Challenge Roth, which are renowned as world championships in the sport.
